She will discuss the situation in detail with you, asking questions until she completely understands what’s going on. She’ll then have you get on the speakerphone and begin working with your dog. Are you the boss? Jill can tell by your tone of voice who’s really running the show. While you’re on the phone, she will ask you to recreate the problem. If you have an excessive barker, for example, Jill will ask you to do whatever makes her bark, like have a friend walk a dog past your house, or ring the doorbell. Jill will teach you, step by step, exactly what to do. You’ll see the beginning signs of success right away and will learn everything you need to solve the problem going forward. It works!
